  1. Well, it looks like our traitor general has good computer security specialists at hand. Although it may be that it's just another, normal element of warfare in Garret's universe. That was how Adamant was first attacked. Computer viruses also played important role in the attack on Peladon. And now taking control of guidance systems on missiles and torpedoes. Yes, I'm really stating do dislike Garret. I'd like to blame Masako for this, her arrogance, her tendency to assess others at first glance, judging if they're good enough to be in her inner circle (Hint: I can't abide her, I'm interpreting everything she says and does against her, always looking for malicious intents. Don't know why, really.) But I don't think this is the case. He's doing this on his own. Or, perhaps, I'm being a bitch and should re-read few last chapters when I'm in better mood
  2. Uhoh, I sincerely hope you do not want to take 12 steps?
  3. What Sharon said.
  4. First paragraph threw me for a loop... Fight? What fight? Where did that come from? Heh, should've expected such an opening from Dan... One question, though. From chapter four, about Adamant: and from the last one: I thought that this restrictive clause meant that Garret must be aboard during all Adamant's runs. Or did I misunderstand and it meant he has to be captian only formally?
  5. Hmmm... I think a clue can be found in your user-name: EMoe57. This makes perfect sense, if there are at least 56 more of you... Nah. It's not a product of advanced science. It's your everyday, classical case of David-Olivier-Luka Syndrom (DOLS for short).
  6. Starting with 1471 posts? ;-)With permanent :king: icon. And with scouts merit badges (that's what they're called, right?)
  7. She does that because she's afraid of what could become public knowledge. It certainly looks like she really has a lot to hide, both from officials and their neighbours. From chapter 6:
  8. Well, it's interesting that there are 3 plots with the key word "rebellion".Federation ships used in recent attacks and markings with double helix seem to indicate that there is something wrong within Federation indeed. So, plots 4 and 5 are looking good. I'm going for 5th. Although, 3rd is tempting. I mean, she has to be evil ;-)
  9. Nah. You cannot sing that off key. It's simply not possible.Well... maybe, if someone is sober enough. But that would be just plain wrong. You can't sing it being sober! Hence, you're deceiving us. Ha! Call me Sherlock.
  10. Yesyes, they are. But who's the other creep?Mr. Dron? Nah, it doesn't seem likely, he was described as old and Frank was chasing our bad guy for quite some time without success.
  11. Those salespeople! They're like that. They'll say and do anything to get you to buy some thoroughly corroded piece of junk, with engine that will consume, beside gas, also oil and cooling water (?). Right. Um. To the point. They're evil, I say!
  12. So, the mirrors cannot be rotated to point backward?Perhaps the extra two will stay hidden for an emergency - mothership destruction has run quite smooth so there was no need to show all assets...
  13. Nah, think you're right: Chapter 4 Chapter 7 Damn, why did I miss it?
  14. Already waiting for new chapter? How's the refreshing going?
  15. Hyyyy!!! <hyperventilates some> That's, that's, that's an outright blasphemy, that's what it is!
