  1. Hi, I really like Mark's stories. I started reading them on the nifty archive and then came to this site to follow them here. From time to time, I go back to Nifty and look for other good stories, too. I have found a few. I was hoping that some of you here could suggest other gay authors with stories that might follow my interests. That way, I could read in between when Mark is writing his own. Currently, I only read Mark's stories here and that is all. I really like sci-fi, thriller and mysteries. But sci-fi is limited to time travel and government conspiracy, and aliens (Quantum Leap and X-files have a special place in my heart!!--I wish Gillian Anderson and Scott Bakula could have had a hunky son as a lovechild!!). I am really not into dragons, magic spells and that sort of thing. If some of you could please suggest some specific authors for me, I would appreciate it. I am not closed to other types of stories, either, but I have tried looking through here on some of the descriptions, and have not found anything that made a spark. I like Mark's stories alot because I like his take and description of certain historical events; I like the feeling of nostalgia that I get when reading them. Thank you for your time. Tony
  2. Around that time, Garbage had a bunch of good songs from their second album Version 2.0--Thirteen, When I Grow Up, Special, Sleep Together, The trick is to keep breathing, and Push it--it was a wierd video, but a cool song. They are classified as rock, but they are poppy, too. #1 Crush was from Romeo and Juliet, I think in 1996 or 97. That was a popular song.
  3. I love the hitmen stuff. One of my favorites is when JP had Jeff's professor killed in CAP.
  4. I think Alexandra is mean and nasty. My gut is for her to die, however, I keep seeing her as kind of this antagonistic figure with power, who dies and comes back, like a soap opera villain in Days of Our Lives, I do not even remember the name of the main character that kept dying and then hiding, and then would come back. They would come back just to antagonize the main good family, cause a bunch of drama, and disappear. Brian Parnell is not like this, because there is not a part of him that I think is likeable. Yes, Alexandra is a total bitch, but her f**king her son with a strap-on, made me laugh just visualizing it. It's cruel and twisted, BUT despite this, there is a part of her that is obviously smart, or she wouldn't have gotten this far, and part of her is wounded, too. I just see the potential in her to develop a good villain, unlike some of the other evil characters that have come and gone. I did vote for Brad to die. I really like this series. I read it because I am a loyal fan, but I really do not care for Brad that much. But, I like the other characters and the plot of what is going on right now, too. He is not a deal breaker. I really want Brian to be the one to get the axe.
  5. Yeah, Sam is back!!!! And....the new Hayes sounds awesome!!!!
  6. Hi, Tom Hardy is my fantasy Jeff. I'm not an idiot, but I couldn't figure out how to post his picture. He is so ruggedly sexy, it drives me wild. A picture of him in a leisure suit comes to mind, however, I don't recollect whether he lived to see its innovation. If someone would please post a picture of him to convey me emotion on the matter, I would be elated!!!! Thank you, forum members.
  7. Im really enjoying this story. Forgive me, if I have missed some things in the many sequels, but I was hoping since everyone seems to be going back to Claremont in this part of the story, that maybe we could get an update with some of the older characters, since that is where they are from. Whatever happened to Vella, Abe, and Sammy? I liked Sammy alot, and would like to know what he is into. I thought Vella was really funny, too. Just curious about them. Cant wait to read the next chapter.
  8. I was hoping for some reason that maybe Tonto had a lesbian affair. I thought about Sammy's mom as potential, but then remembered how she was toward JP before she warmed up to him. I miss Sammy btw.
  9. Take as much time as you want. I'm obsessed with genealogy, too. Sometimes, it just helps for me to see the characters visually, at least the family groups. I know most of the characters. However, sometimes when I'm reading a different story and am really into it, a reference to another character can throw me off guard, to no fault of Mark's of course. He is just telling the story. Forgive me, too. I'm just learning how to post on this website, and I don't know how to multiquote yet. Someone earlier made a reference to Jason. He is my favorite character, minus the rape and torture of Stephan of course. It's nostalgia back to when I was an undergrad and had sex with my TA. It was so hot! I'm really off topic, but my favorite sex scene was when he and JP made love in the mental institute. I could read and reread that scene so many times. To quote "Heathers", it was "shower-nozzle-masturbation-material for weeks!!"
  10. Wow, Im hooked into this one now! It has to be information about a lovechild, hopefully! I went to go see "A Single Man" tonight. While I enjoyed the movie, I kept thinking to myself that Colin Firth's character reminded me of JP, with some differences of course. But now whenever I read these stories, Ill probably think of Colin Firth. He may not be everyone else's cup-of-tea, but I think he's a studmuffin!!! I was thinking about something else, Mark. I'm not trying to be critical or anything, but I didn't know if you could post something else on your homepage, pertaining to the characters in the story. I like to read the stories, but sometimes it's hard to keep all of the characters straight. I didn't know if you could post a big family tree or somekind of reference on your homepage about all of the characters. Great work and Thank You!!!
  11. Hi Mark, I think that it would be interesting to involve Ace somehow in the attacks, not having to kill him, maybe disabling him in some way. I think that it could really evoke something in JP, having lost Andre in Vietnam and then something happening to Ace during the attacks. It might be a good setup for a future storyline, especially with some of the rush judgements that were made by the US leading up to invading Iraq. I really enjoyed JP's interest in the Vietnam War and would be curious to see what he thought about everything that happened concerning the War on Terror. I really like this series. Please keep up the great work on the stories! You're great. Anthony
