What a way to end the chapter! I enjoyed everything and the story hit the heartstrings, JJ's surgery, the war (between Will and Brad as well as the one the US was entering), the baby, the tribute to Robbie. I loved the dinner scene when Brad asked about the mattress in his room -- even though he has for all practical purposes moved to San Francisco! It was classic Will. JJ and Alex have to work out a few things before Alex's baby is born, but I think that the two of them will be able to prevail -- at least that is what I hope to read in future installments! Great work and again, thank you for sharing your awesome talent with us as we read your stories.

I'm glad to read that Will and Brad are getting to a better place. Brad seems to be taking the boys advice and is enjoying the hunt again -- there are still (and probably will be more) memories of Robbie, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It was nice to read that Marc and Brad had a good time in bed and hopefully that will continue to Down Under! It sounds as if Marc has attributes that both JJ and Will can appreciate. Mark Another great chapter! Claire's birthday dinner was interesting but she didn't seem to mind since she was able to find out what was bothering her father. JP and Will seem to be on the same page, even if getting there was painful. Stef and Brad have some lessons to learn and I hope that they are able to survive the fallout (not that you have indicated that there will be any, but...). Wade's mother came through and in my mind I don't think that Hammer will be making the trip down under. Thanks again for sharing your talents with us! Six

In the words Ricardo to Lucy "Alex you got some xplainin' to do!" and hopefully JJ will listen to why Alex didn't have the opportunity to call back (and Alex doesn't have to explain Mary Ellen!". Great chapter and hopefully JJ has enough time to overcome the effects of a double dose of sleeping pills. There is probably enough time for Alex to meet JJ at the competition, it would be close, but maybe that is what it is going to take for JJ to get over the issues at hand!

This was an excellent end to the story. Matt has grown up and it looks like him and Wade have come to terms. I was glad to see the maturity that Matt has shown and I know that he will be a much better "Dad" in the future. It fits with the saying that anyone can father a child, but it takes a special man to be a DAD; and I think that Matt is up to the challenge at this point in his life. Brad and Will are on an even keel (for a change -- how long that will last is know only to you Mark!). JP and Stef are truly the patriarchs and understanding of the dianamics that are taking place in the family. Some of the characters have taken a back seat and it will be interesting to see how the story develops and evolves. Thanks again for a great run and am looking forward to the next segment!

Boston! or should I write Boston????? I like it better the first way, something went down between Wade and Alex and it was probably with Wade showing Alex he wasn't going to stay on the pedestal where Alex had placed him! At least that is what I want to think! Matt isdefinitely the knight in shining armor running to Wade to see what is going on. What I really liked was Matt's realization that shildren are important and that him and Wade were Riley's dads and that Tiffany's pregnancy was the result of the three of them and that the baby would be theirs, all of theirs. It looks like Matt is going to step up and be an adult and take responsibility. Thanks again for sharing your awesome talent with us!

Talk about a great chapter: Tiffany pregnant, Wade sick, Alex having a whole new persona with Matt. I hope that the baby is actually Matt's (and a boy) so that will give him a reason to always be in Wade's life to a degree should something go south -- not that it should and I am NOT making a suggestion, just playing odds! If Wade is not better soon I hope he will be a man and at least talk to Jack so that if it is anything more than a virus, it is dealt with ASAP! Looking foward to the next update...this story rocks!

Great chapter! I had forgotten about Matt's previous scare with HIV, so hopefully Jack will be able to let him know what he has to do to get the right test and that it will come back negative! Thanks for the chapter and as usual, I don't want to wait for the next one!

Great chapter Mark. Will is being Will and Brad is being Brad and at times they are like oil and vinegar, good together but don't really mix that well! I'm bummed about Matt, and will have to wait to see how things play out. Zach kind of blew Will off, but in reality I kind of expected that. When he is with his folks, he really doesn't really seem to have much of a backbone and is easily manipulated. It was nice of Will to want to stay and be there Matt (at least for a day or two), but he should have a good time in Hawaii with his dad. Thanks again Mark. Looking forward to the next installment.

A great update for the 4th of July! Will and Matt seem good for each other now that they have gotten over their past. Hopefully that they will continue to respect each other. Its interesting to see how Brad is still seeing Will as a little kid and not as a young adult (and I do mean YOUNG!). Thanks again!

Another great chapter complete with a good dose of drama. Cody's situation didn't surprise me, but the twists and turns and who else it involved makes for an interesting time at the clinic! Matt seems to be more and more mature all of the time. I hope that he is able to handle the relationship that Wade is developing with Alex, but is Alex really the one for Wade -- they are too much alike in my extimation. Will and Zach seem to have reached an understanding, but his folks will have complete control for the next month and we will have to see if Zach has the balls to stand up to them without Will. Brad is bouncing all over the place, hopefully he will be able to get grounded sooner than later. Thanks again for a great update!

Awesome chapter Mark, the scene between Wade and Matt was heartbreaking. What I really liked was after Wade left and Matt called Alex and was a gentleman about everything. To me, that showed me how much Matt has matured, I think that Matt will be okay, but it is going to take him a while. What I hope doesn't happen that living above the club he doesn't turn into a slut, he really has too much going to do that! Thanks again for sharing your talents with us!

When Alex was first introduced in the story, I thought that Wade would be smitten and it looks like there is interest! Alex is an interesting sort, girlfriend conviently out of the country, moving to Boston, but is he interested in Wade sexually???? Time will tell and I am sure that it is going to be an adventure! Matt is handling everything fairly well, but not letting the others know what is happening, just yet. Brad is at a quandry with Kevin's abrupt departure and what is the deal with Cody ignoring Stef...not a smart move for anyone! Zach is getting an education from all appearances and I am not sure that his parents really approve of him spending time with Will even with JP being there. An excellent chapter and I can't wait for the next update. Thanks for sharing your talents with us Mark.

Matt was exactly what Zach needed, someone on the outside to make him take a look at himself and decide what is best for Zach. Zach has always been swayed by anyone and everyone so I am glad to read that he is finally growing a spine/balls, whatever. I tend to be on JP's side on this one, while exposure to collegiate coaches/scouts is good, Zach needs to look at the big picture and see what is best for Zach after high school and that would be the trip to Europe with JP (with Matt and Will!). Geat update and am looking forward to the next one!

Mark Another great chapter! I was glad to see JJ be real and not quite so "bitchy" for a change. Will was definitely Will as he bantered with Stef! Loved the interaction and the threats of going to his dad and Grand at Stef's expense. Matt had a good time with Wade and for a while I thought that he may be growing up a little bit and not being such the cock hound, but then that wouldn't be Matt.'' I thought that Will's thought of dropping Barry off in Afghanistan was awesome! Wally and Clara really do not like Will, but it reality Will has done more for Zack than they have, but then they have very narrow minds and Will's world must totally blow them out of the water (at least out of Claremont!). Great update and am looking forward to the continuing saga!

Great chapter...very emotional and yet very good. I have enjoyed the story to date and look forward to more of the same!

The last couple of chapters have been great -- I fault myself for not commenting to let you know how much that I have enjoyed the story. There are times that I have to remind myself that this is a work of fiction; and AWESOME work, but still a story! Part of me wants to see Wade leave Matt in the dust, but there is another part of me that wants to see the two of them salvage what they have and move beyond the past several months. Matt really needs to mature and the response to Wade when he told him that Will's nickname for him was Brutus was perfect. Matt is a hockey player (jock) to enth degree!

While Will seems to have grown up a bit, I think that he still has some more growing, but then don't we all??? I felt that you did a great job showing how Gathan felt that he was superior to Zach and felt that he needed to keep Zach down (mainly to help he look better). Will will be tested if he ever really has to act as the trustee and disagrees with with Zach's wants. He has to remember that Zach's "needs" are what is important and that somethines they are hard to separate from one's "wants". Thanks for the posting, it was/is a great way to start the last day of the Thanksgiving weekend.
