It looks like Will and Hank are going to have an interesting and turbulent relationship! It was really nice to see that Brad stood behind Will when he laid down the financial support that his mother would be getting if she was moving back east. Hank may be looking out after Janine's interests and appears to be good with Maddie, but deep down I think that she is a gold digger. Great story Mark and thanks for the update!

It was interesting to see Marie hold her position at the top of her social heap. She feels that because of the status that she holds herself at she is above any wrong doing, but there is hell to pay if she feels that she is slighted in any way. For Claire to take ill in the middle of dinner had a lot to say about where her feelings were and she knows that Grand will have more to say, by not saying a lot--if anything! It wasn't Marie or John's place to say anything and by talking, Eric felt vindicated. Will not doing anything says a lot about where and how he is growing up. Good chapter and I am sure that the next one will be very interesting with the boys meeting Hank!

It was great to read about Will and Wade in what appears to more of a great story! When Eric hit Will and he dropped to the fetal position the reader needs to remember that Will is only 14 and has just recently gone through a growth spurt. His maturity level and his physical awkwardness both would dictate that Will would not fight back in a surprise attack. I am sure that it took a lot of resolve from JP and Stef not to do more to Eric -- until they discussed the matter with Will. Will should realize that they have his best interests in mind and that they are treating him more like an adult than a teen. Marie and John need to remember not to air family laundry in public and I am sure that the conversation will come out with JP/Grand in the room. Thanks for sharing your talents with us. Six

Andrew this was a great chapter! I really liked how you used the counseling session to pull the different aspects of this update together. Ace is going to be a great "straight" poster boy for the GSA at the school. When is he going to find someone special? I was glad to see that the boys were able to pull off the Fall Fest without CJ and Danny, it shows that they are able to go that extra mile when needed. Thanks for sharing your talents!

Another great installment! Sorry to read that Shane had taken his life and that it was Will he sent the note to. Having Will tell JJ, probably wasn't the best for their relationship, but I think that JJ will start on the road to recovery. It will be interesting to see how you weave "Scott" and Jeff into the story. Six

Another great chapter Andrew! Danny and CJ definitely have their work ahead of them with a baby and a teenager! There are getting to be a lot of characters to keep track of but each offer so much to the story. I have enjoyed the "interludes" as they give the back stories for the new characters so when they are introduced into the main story everything is great. Please keep up the great work! Six

Mark, you have crafted yet another great chapter to this saga. I loved the way that Wade worked Robbie in such a way that he cleared the air without demeaning or destroying their relationship. Brad and Robbie did ask a lot of Wade when they asked him to help JJ. I personally don't see the two of them having the relationship that Wade has with Will -- but I could be wrong! Thanks for another great installment and I for one am looking forward to many more. Six

Great story Billy! A lot has happened in past couple of chapters and it doesn't look good for the boys. Andy has a great lawyer on board, but will she be enough and what happens when she and the Judge get interested in each other? It looks like Stef is staking the deck to help (make) Robbie see what an ass he has been. While Will is only 14 he appears to know how to handle himself and with Stef and JP there to guide him I think that he will be more than successful. I am sure that there will be times that he makes a wrong decision, but that is life. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Great chapter and I am so glad that Danny and CJ are going to be re-united. The back story of Zak and Danny's dad has got to be good -- hopefully it will be in the next chapter.

Dinner was interesting and while it appeared everyone was ganging up on Robbie, I think that Robbie had brought most of it on himself. I hope that future installments show that Brad and Robbie are able to rebuild their relationship. Wade and Nana should go to the Senator's holiday parties and show that they are united and support each other. It looks like Wade's mother is out of the picture for the time being, but I really would count her out, not just yet. There is probably one more good fight in her, especially where Wade is slated as Nana's guardian and heir. Know Wade, he will make sure that his mother is taken care of, but that is all... minimal contact. Great story for the new year. Hope everyone out there has a great 2013.

Great chapter and I had hoped that CJ would buy the ranch. TJ is going to going to be a problem -- for awhile, but I will bet that he comes around (in more ways than one!). CJ and Mattie's parents are going to have issues, but hopefully the family is strong enough to deal. Can't wait for the next installment.

Great chapter Mark. You set Elizabeth up perfectly as she had made a bed that now she has to lay in it! It will be interesting to see how Gabriel reports the hearing as there are some things that Wade probably would rather stay out of the limelight (Matt's affair and his father's lack of family involvement). Great chapter Mark! Brad has the right as a parent to dictate what happens to Will, BUT, when a parent tells a teenager something, the parent needs to be honest. The teenager might not need to know the whole deal, but to lie about it will only cause problems between parent and child. I am enjoying the story and want to read more about Wade and what is brewing with his family! Siz

Great chapter Mark! It was great to catch up with Wade and Matt (and JP). You sure gave me a lot to think about while waiting for the next installment. Will Claire become the heir apparent or will Brad continue to be JP's replacement? What does Wade's mother have up her sleeve -- other than we know it will be under-handed and damaging to Wade. Will Tiffany stay with Wade in her "guilded cage"? How will Janine cope having to go back to the hospital. And then there is Will -- he has an uncanny ability to see through some of the BS that comes with family politics. Great job Mark. Looking forward to the next installment! Six

Mark: Another excellent chapter! I was sorry to see that Michael got away with what he did (or at least it did to me!). It was sad to see JJ fall, but that is what makes reading your story so believable, reality is there. Brad (and Robbie) need to keep their priorities family focused. Jeff was there when Will needed him to be, so I hope that his new security will be able to do the same. Thank you!

Great chapter Mark -- but what a let down to read about Pat. I had hoped that Pat finally had his s**t together so that he could resume his position as Will's security, but now, I don't see it. I hope that Jeff is good for Will -- the hot/cold act was getting old. Will can be a handful, but I think that he is really a good kid, just needs to grow up (some days a little, most a lot!) The last two chapters have been awesome Mark! Thanks for making this chapter available so fast, I logged on to read Chapter 31 again and was happy to see Chapter 32 available! You made me feel Will's pain as Brad and Robbie seemed overly involved in themselves. As parents, they needed a wake up call. Brad's idea of getting the upper hand with the likes of Mr. Martin was NOT good parenting. Will knew which buttons to push with both Brad and Robbie. I hope that Stef and Wade can get to Will before anything more happens to him, after all he is just a kid... Thanks again for your great stories.

The last couple of chapters have been great. Was sorry to hear of Pat's troubles and was disappointed on how Brad and Robbie handled things. Wade gave Will some excellent advice, push it to limit (or just beyond) and then drop it, the guilty will wait for the other shoe to drop; and when it doesn't it totally messes with them! Mark: Great chapter! It was good to hear about the younger generation. Will seems to be growing up a little fast, but it is expected in some ways. Brad is walking the fine parental line, being a parent vs being a friend; being there for Will vs doing his "job": With Janine kind of out of it right now, Brad and Robbie need to step up their "DAD" game! Great story, it is great to be able to sign in and see an update.
