Remijay poems - 1. Friends


The wishes I wish I could have made
The ones that I could have saved
There are so many wishes that I wished to make
When the time was right
And now, its too late

I wanted to wish everything for you
To make it seem better
To make it seem greater

Every night I sit and think of the mistakes I have caused
The pain that I have put you through
The mistakes that I wish I could change
There's only so much that a person can do,
I could have been better, greater
A more of a best friend too you

The wishes that I could have used
To save us
To save our relationship
Every wish spent was one that wasn’t allowed
The very thought of it scares me to death

Now its gone, the relationship I mean
You have moved on and left me behind
Now that I think about it, I could have been better, I could have done something

To wish that I was there with you every time you cried
Wished to make things better, greater
Maybe a new life, relationship, partner, anything.

But its too late to change anything, we have grown apart
And for that I'm sorry
The wishes I could have used to make it better

Good bye my sweet friend, let nothing stop you from making it

 

Today is the day that I have failed you,

Let you down,

That seemed so long ago,

But the past always haunts you

For that I'm truly sorry!

Let no love destroy you

Let no-one corrupt you

Have no fear

Love is the strongest there is

 

I've loved you from the moment I met you.

 

Now it seems that, I was a fool to believe
