Broken Fate - 1. The Mirror on the Wall
The Mirror on the Wall
By J.A. Oshio
I look in the Mirror
Tears streaming down
It all becomes Clearer
As I look at the torn gown
What Have I done?
For I have tossed my honor away
And what I have won
Was not worth the price I had to pay
My soul is broken
I see the Child in me
I wish I could give him a token
And set him free
My heart Quakes
I see my lost Love
His hollow eyes like stakes
Just one more shove
My Fathers eyes once so proud
Now Anger Filled
Over My mothers shroud
As her Heart I killed
I see the Long line of my life
It is empty and hollow
I take out a knife
For I can not stand what is to follow
They are coming for me now
Blood splattering across the Walls
I make one last vow
Finally as Darkness Calls
