Scars - The things we bare - 4. After He Leaves

Recently had to face a few things and not all of them are pretty. So became fuel for this.

He loves me, he hates me, he uses me, and he leaves me

I stand there, I cry there, I fall apart there, and I wait there

We planned, we talked, we loved, we broke up.

 

Time moves on, time crawls away, time dies, time stops

Bitter pain, intense pain, lesser pain, dulling pain

Break the ice, break up, break down, and then break free

 

Shattered image, shattered emotions, shattered soul, shattered sense of self

Gaining weight, gaining sizes, gaining image issues, gaining problems

Losing dreams, losing heart, losing will, and losing fire to start over

 

Passing time, passing through, passing by, and passing round the old ideas

Starting up, starting over, starting ideas, starting it now

Giving up pain, giving up desolation, giving up despair, giving up the hopelessness

 

Building a new life, building a new dream, building a new chance, building up my self esteem

Fighting for myself, fighting for my dreams, fighting for my respect, fighting for my future

Standing up again, standing tall again, standing strong again, standing proud again

After dealing with some issues I finally came out with this. Comments are welcome. Thank you for reading.

It should be 'losing', not 'loosing'.
