A Life - As It Was
This is the story of Chris, warts and all, from the age of five to about sixteen..
Like all of us Chris has had many experiences in life, some good, some bad. He's also had successes and failures, just like you and me. This is about how he coped with the hand that life dealt him and started to grow up.
It's an emotional story with many ups and downs, so if you can take the pace, have the tissues ready and read on.....
There will be instances of violent and sexual abuse involving children. I'll keep them as toned down as possible, only being as graphic as warranted by the story line. This can crop up at any time in the story but any chapters that do have graphic scenes will be flagged.
If you have any problem with the above then please do not read.
24th September 2018. Unfortunately due to pressing health issues I have had to temporarily stop writing. I hope to resume and complete this story when matters improve. My apologies for any disappointment caused.
