Pink Shorts - 1. GA Stallions

Mann shook his head and sighed. “You know? I thought we were done with this shit.”

He and the other members of the Georgia—usually abbreviated to GA—Stallions had just opened presents from their Secret Santa, and his did not make him happy.

The other four men in the foremost strip troupe in the Southeast—excluding Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana—giggled like a bunch of prepubescent girls.

“You know we love you, big guy.” Myr, the group’s founder and leader, threw an arm over Mann’s shoulder and gave him a bro hug. While Mann was a mountain of a man, all muscles and hair, the boss was less noticeable. Hell, his strip persona was a nerd, broken glasses and pocket protector included.

The irony was while Mann was gay, and a bit flamboyant, Myr and the other strippers, Adi, Cia, and Val, were all straight. Of course, on stage, whatever hand held the largest denomination bill was the most welcome; whether it belonged to a man on a woman.

“Why do I get this?” Mann’s whining was due to the present he held in front of himself as if afraid it would bite. “Do we really need to advertise I’m gay when it’s a bunch of hetero women out there?”

“Bitch, pleaze… Quit your bellyaching. Mary, you were born to wear it.” Val could impersonate an effeminate man better than the rest. “It just might get you more money than usual. It’ll add a little down there.”

“Hey! You sound nellier than I do!” Mann could tell himself that as often as he wanted, but nobody would ever call him Butch.

“Stop it right now! You know the rules. No arguing before a performance. Plus you can only complain twice a day and you’ve both gone over the limit.” Cia was the enforcer. He made the damn rules and ensured everyone followed them. “And we’re running out of time. Gentlemen, let’s get ready.”

“Do I really have to wear this?” Mann sounded pitiful.

Adi, the most level headed one in the group had the final word. “Yes you do, buddy. But you should know the rest of us are wearing plain black ones tonight. You get to be the star! Out front and center of our Christmas Special. Val was right, you were born to wear a pink sequined jock strap on stage.”
