I really enjoyed this tale of the wild west, but updated with gay characters who were like action heroes. The narrative had a wonderful filmic quality, which meant I could really imagine the various scenes. The main scenes were skillfully and theatrically set up - especially the court scene and the final showdown in the centre of the town.

A powerful, graphic morality tale cloaked around a classic Western environment. Good does fight evil.

You will learn about the struggles to exist in a dying mining town. Two people arise to its defense and bring others along with them as they face fierce battles and corruption and well-armed men who do not give up. There are compelling, interesting people and a powerful, smart horse who joins the fight. Love is found, earned and kept strong.

Buckshot is a wonderful tale of love, resilience and loyalty. Through Elias and Theo, who embody these virtues, the story unfolds as they not only save a town from evil, but also build a hopeful future for themselves and others that will leave readers smiling with joy.

A splendid read that I devoured in a single weekend.

Take a lawman, Sawyer and add in the local Guide Theo.

Add in a corrupt Detective Agency and in Cobb's Red Sash Gang.

You have friendship between the townsfolk, honor,  integrity and some loving. As Sawyer, Theo and there band of misfits are forced to make a last stand.
