Love this companion piece to 'Still Alive Dumbass'. Compelling narrative. Slow pace which I am relishing, and interesting background in Afghanistan. Thank you!
Recently found this story and read all so far. Appreciate the rich historical detail, the narrative which includes political background and slow burn relationship. Well done! Looking forward to more.
Thank you for this Wild West story. The two main characters are imaginative, appealing and fully formed. Also I'm enjoying the perceptive Madame in her setting of faded grandeur and chandeliers.
Looking forward to how the story and relationships will develop.
I'm really savouring this slow burn Western romance, and always I enjoy Wayne Gray's descriptive and subtle style. I love the Oklahoma cowboy context 🤠 Although I live in Scotland, I must have watched too many cowboy films in my youth and seen too much rugged masculinity depicted with overtones of homoeroticism 😂
Love this story and the quiet tenderness that is developing between Kent and Marvin. Beautifully written and I enjoy the way that Kent's mother and Pete observe the growing relationship, but they watch shrewdly and say nothing. Thank you for sharing this story 🙏🏻
This is addictive! Slow-paced descriptive narrative; interesting locational details; engaging characters; plus slow burn relationship. So much to relish here. Thank you for sharing.
Loving this tale of an inexperienced knight and his blind squire. Clearly the knight feels protective/ attracted to his squire.... and now we have a crazy, good hearted female knight and a faithful dog. It's all shaping up nicely - but I'm dreading the sea voyage and the Crusade itself 😒
Great writing and characters. Thank you!
I have no experience of being famous and terrorised by the media, but this tender story took me there. Beautiful and sensitive writing, with main characters who were well rounded and attractive. I really enjoyed following this story which had passion and pace. Thank you!
Honestly, I'm hooked like a fish! Beautiful writing - austere, violent and passionate, but also wonderfully poetic. Fascinating description of the town and its inhabitants. Engaging narrative that draws in your readers. Well done! And thank you for sharing.
Phew! Thank goodness they got there! It would have been such a waste if they hadn't - and I for one became very invested in them getting together after that hiatus. Well done!
Hopefully Liam's self reflexions and conversations with his friends will convince him he should crawl over broken glass to have a relationship with Adrian! Clearly Adrian is sexy, humourous, perceptive, sensitive, experienced - and capable of gently giving Liam an ultimatum. I'm hooked! 😁
