There's No Such Place as Neverland (based off comicfan prompt #110)
The story is based off comic fans prompt # 110 - creating evil.
Griffin Forrester is a Former FBI profiler, who had struggled for the last 10 years, with both his psychic abilities, and the disgrace of living with the reality that not even those powers, allowed him to see the evil that was always right in front of him. He's tried to hide from his past, but when a child Is abducted, and her parents are brutally murdered in a ritualistic manner eerily similar to the case that cost him his career, he's dragged back into a world where belief and wishes don't always set you free to fly.
It's much darker in theme than stories that I have posted so far, as per the prompt. There will be mentions of child abuse, sexual perversions, domestic abuse, heinous murders, and a lot of just poor behavior and choices all around, dosed heavily with my ever flawed characters and gallows humor. The Prologue and first chapter are creepy as he'll. Chapter 2 builds relationships but from there it will be up and down like a roller coaster ride. As always, I try not to be gratuitous with stomach-turning details, but it is a story revolving around a serial killer and many murders, so read at your discretion.
