A Change of Worlds 5. Killian Kendall Series

Killian is, much of the time, a highly intelligent teenager with a very strong sense of justice and fairness. This, combined with his supernatural “gift”, one which he is still grappling to understand and make the best use of, has resulted in him solving several high-profile multiple murders, as he does in this latest story. 

Killian is, however, still a teenager, one who at times is careless or reckless, placing himself in danger in the face of a murderer, or when driving. He is, much to the amusement of several of we readers, a lead-foot and it is a miracle he has not been involved in more car accidents.

He is also still learning to negotiate and navigate relationships, both filial and sexual, and at times he makes poor choices and despairs at the outcome of these poor choices. This subplot always makes for interesting reading, and adds further appeal to him as a character.

As noted by @weinerdog, this latest story has added a number of new characters, characters whom I hope will continue to appear in further stories as they have added to Killian’s “found family”, a family which includes his deceased first boyfriend and his brother, father (who is Killian’s adoptive father) and his boyfriend, and his business partner.

If you are already familiar with The Killian Kendall series then I don't have to say anything ,You know what's good. For those who are not familiar think of Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys but from  gay teen perspective and more contemporary and funnier. Try to think of being in so many ways your average teenager but with super natural gifts and abilities and you are thrown into this adult world of being a P.I. working with a a highly respected P.I. and at the same time you're still trying to figure out how to be an adult while also navigating a new and seemingly continuing evolving adoptive loving family.Add to the mix genuine intriguing mysteries to solve and you have a great series .And this stories adds excellent new characters to an already interesting cast.Interested in reading this now?
