A blind boy hailed as a saint. A sorcerer-prince branded a monster. Bound by magic, divided by war, and caught in the crushing grip of the First Crusade.

As thirty thousand starving crusaders batter the walls of Antioch, Wylan—a stable boy turned reluctant holy icon—discovers his soul is tethered to Ishan, the Seljuk prince sworn to destroy his army. Together, they share visions, stolen warmth, and a truth that could burn them both.

The city bleeds. The earth shakes. And when the sky turns red, their swapped bodies become the least of their sins.

Book 2 of the Silver Boar Saga masterfully brings to life the epic Siege of Antioch (1097–1098), blending real Crusades history with fantasy, magic, and unforgettable characters. Battles, betrayal, heroism, starvation, and the discovery of the Holy Lance create a dark and gripping atmosphere, balanced perfectly by @Topher Lydon's unique humor. The Vanguard, led by the fearless Lord Darien, returns alongside the fascinating mage duo - the blind lord Wylan and young Seljuk prince Ishan - whose mysterious magical bond grows even deeper.

Adventurous, emotional, and rich with historical detail, this is a must-read for fans of historical fantasy. I’m eagerly awaiting the sequel and the horrors of Jerusalem to come. Without doubt, this saga is among the best fantasy novels you can find online.

Book 2 of the Silver Boar Saga.

Wylan, a blind boy declared a saint and  Ishan a sorcerer prince.

Watch these two and Darien.

We are treated to an amazing story full of magic, fighting, religious beliefs and much more.

Read on for some fascinating characters, awesome battles and plenty of death.

You will not be disappointed.

Such intense combat and such soul crushing trials of endurance in heat, thirst, hunger and wet, never ending mud and unexpected  heavenly upheavels

"A blind boy hailed as a saint. A sorcerer-prince branded a monster. Bound by magic, divided by war, and caught in the crushing grip of the First Crusade...." give us the backdrop for this second book in the series

You will read about treachery, twists and turns, horrible villains, butchery, charlatans, religious zealotry.  people who know how to lead with good and convenient reasons and outright heroes. Pay attention to what happens to Wylan, Ishan and Darien. There are lots of fascinating characters and action to keep this story compelling
