Having bought the books on Kindle; I decided to come on over here and leave a review of the series. This franchise is one of the only franchises I have never wanted to put the books down. The continuous gentle tone of Comicality's persuasion skills makes the protagonist Billy a very relatable character, and that you can spend hours reading along with him. At first, the story progression seems repetitive but once you get past that and further into the series it becomes more interwoven, deep-rooted and addictive. At times Billy is portrayed as a perfect character. But as the series gets into the further volumes that is when the story begins to shine. The first couple of volumes are more centered around the act of sex and everything that accompanies it. However for the first of the series; it primarily focuses on developing characters which you will empathize with much later in the series and come to love the characters the author has created. In this book alone as far as my memory serves me correctly some of the characters you are introduced to in this book are, Billy, his parents, his best friend Sam; Joanna, Billy's first girlfriend as a closeted boy. Jimmy, who grows on you in the future volumes, Brandon, AJ, I think, and a couple of other-tag along peeps that come to fruition in later volumes like Simon, Lee and the unforgettable Jamie Cross. Primarily this book focuses on the insight of a teenager in the closet; his thoughts and comments on most boys; the fear of being found out is only a mild grazing, but in the near future it becomes a scary reflection. I would recommend this series; it is funny at times, sad at others, and quite honest in some instances. There is quite a number of graphic sexual dialogue and monologue from the main character and in some occasions sexual situations.
