Shawn slips, falls, and dies, but his mind is transferred to himself in an alternative universe. The humans in this universe are far in advance of what he knew. Merged with an AI system, Shawn must explore this seemingly utopian world as he goes off to college only to discover a dystopian reality and military dictatorship. He was given a system that allows him certain skills or abilities and lets him improve those the more he uses the system, similar to a video game; some involve sex. Will he be able to level up fast enough to save himself, his new friends, and potentially the human race?

An epic story starts with humble beginnings: Luke tries to keep his apartment but is evicted. His best – and straight – friend, Zeke, offers to let him move into his one-bedroom. Luke has long lusted after Zeke but knows Zeke won't return it. When both are suddenly kidnapped and taken to a strange, new world, Luke embarks on an epic quest to save not only Zeke, but an entire realm.

A young man ventures into the human world after being raised by elves. His companion is a young jinni with little power and a blocked memory. Together and with contacts they make, the protagonist must figures out how to make a life without attracting the unwanted attention that you know will find them. A story about love, magic, and sacrifice.
