Billy Chase; volume 2 focus mainly on Billy's infatuation with a couple of boys in his life. Some to note is Simon, his best friend Sam, Jamie Cross, Aj, Lee, but let's not forget Brandon. This is also the book that denotes and shows that everything is not quite perfect for Billy parents and that a good friend of Billy's recovers from a near suicide attempt. I am not going to name, names in case you wish to find that out for yourself but be warned. Over the course of this book, Joanna, Billy's first girlfriend grow more person, defying personal boundaries though of course with Billy being gay it can only go so far. He also meets another gay kid and that intensifies, until the both of them are sleeping with each other. It appears to be all good at first but as time goes on it surfaces that the boy is a user. Simultaneously; as Billy dates Joanna, he indulges in his hormonal affairs with this other gay boy he met on a whim. Billy's infatuation for Brandon starts to grow out of proportion, it becomes stronger and ironically he falls in love with a pretty boy who spends his time in the library. There are traces of bullying in this entry, and Sam and Billy begin to drift apart over the course of this entry and into book three. In this book it goes to show a little bit more of the character of Billy; his temperament and how he handles altercations and getting into fistfights. As far as I recall Billy has his first kiss with a boy in this book. This book seems a little flighty, and less grounded than the first book; though it is still an awesome read. Toward the mid-section of the book it wraps and pulls you into the accident with his friend, bullying and then this is where the book begins to take its grounded stance and continues well into the future volumes. Check out the book; this is a fun read nonetheless.
