Raymond's life is his job and things aren't likely to change until his best friend sends him an invite where he must save the date. When tries to get out of Robin's event, his life is given the kick start it really needed.

This story was written as a response to the Special Anniversary Prompt for Gay Author's Anniversary. Hopefully the story does what it is supposed to.
Raymond West works. That is the problem, he has no life outside of work and if it wasn't for Robin, his best friend, he wouldn't really care. However all that changes when Robin invites Ray to her home. Unsure of why he has to give up work and go, Ray heads up to Connecticut. While there Ray's life gets a shaken up and the empty future he was expecting might just be altered because he saved the date.
