Love is a Wicked Game - 2. Free Verse of Khushbu

strong>I tried a Khusbhu Poetic Form, which will contains two forms called Ghazaliyat and Free Verse. This poem is a Free Verse form of Khushbu. Hope you guys like it...

He never cared about me—

Was it I who blindsided him?

He never stayed with me—

Was it I who sourly bugged him?

He never rang up for me—

Was it I who so miss him?

He never again talked to me—

Was it I who hugely hurt him?

He never even loved me—

Was it I who was hopeless for him?

Is it just him and me—

Or the villainous envy of the other one?

Is it just him and me—

Or a play of vicious fate that we performed?

strong>Thank you all for reading my poems. Please leave a review, if you feel up to it, before you leave.

Wow, Emi, that was really good. It gave me chills.

So sad thinking the other person feels the same way about you that you feel for him, only to find out he doesn't.

There is nothing quite so spiteful and driving as unrequited love. When we believe another is part of our destiny, it feels like we are being cheated. Or, we feel the other is only toying with our emotions. Great job evoking those feelings!!!

This is my favorite of the three. I sometimes have a hard time understanding poems but it was easy to grasp the message here.

Love is a lot of thing and sometimes its nothing. And it hurt you like hell when you find out its not truly given to you. Thank for letting me know what you think... :)

Sadder than anything in the world. It hurts too. Thanks for the compliments and your effort to read and review for the poem... :)
