A thoroughly interesting and readable story. While there's a promise of a part 2 to the story...

Unfortunately, the author, @Kai Taylor, seems to have disappeared, so we may never get to read the follow up to this story. Which is a pity, as it ended on somewhat of a cliff-hanger.
