Christmas Admirer - 3. Chapter 3
On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me…
The fake snow swirled around us, his arms around my waist and my hands resting on top of them. His cheek resting on my hair and the most adorable smile on his face. His crown was slightly tilted. Our homecoming picture was one of my favorites, the first of us as a couple. I didn’t know they made snowglobe picture frames but it was very cute. I knew I would keep it on my nightstand all year around.
On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me…
The pillows were sitting on my desk. It took me a minute to figure out that the prints were actual movie stubs. And not just any movie stubs, the smaller pillow was the movie stub from the first movie I ever saw in theatres. Keirnan was there, of course. I remembered the first time the villain appeared on screen, with it’s trademark green smoke, I covered my eyes and nearly crawled into Keirnan’s lap. He held me tight with my face against his chest and told me not to be afraid, he was always going to protect me.
The larger of the two pillows was a more recent movie stub, just last month actually. The first movie we saw in theatres together as a couple. I ended up on his lap again, but not until much later that night after we got home.
On the eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me…
“It’s one of those soundwave bracelets.” Shay explained to me.
“Soundwave?”
“Yea, you record yourself saying something and they engrave the soundwaves into the jewelry. I’m guessing by the very short note in the card you can figure out what it says.”
“I love you. Wow… that’s really cool. Where does he find these things?”
“Probably orders them online.”
“Online… oh my god why didn’t I think of that? I’m sure I can find something perfect online.”
“Better hurry, or it might not get here in time.”
