your lips
touching mine
soft and sweet
tasting of honey
fresh from the comb
your hair
slipping through my fingers
strands of silk
brushed by stardust
kissed by a sunset
your eyes
smiling at me
warm and welcoming
with the deep glow
of an emerald’s fire
your voice
speaking my name
clear as crystal
soft as a whisper
carried on the wind
my love
enfolding you
embraced by eternity
touched by God
undimmed by time
