Love II - 3. I’ve Never Told You a Lie
I’ve never said I’ve always done things with the best intentions
I’ve never said I’ve always done the right thing
I’ve never said I’ve never made mistakes
I’ve never said I was perfect
I’ve never said I was even close
I’ve always said if you knew the real me you would run, that you should run
I’ve always said I’m not this wonderful person you see
I’ve always said my motives have not always been pure
I’ve always said that my past was filled with bad things said and worse things done
I’ve always said I am not perfect
I’ve always said I am not even close
But I’ve always said that I love you
And I’ve never told you a lie
