I trace the line from your navel to your chest
Touch your soul, stroke your hair, let your head, on me rest
I smell your brown, green apple scented hair
Kiss you tenderly; let your soul upon me bare
I cup your hands in mine, so firmly
And let your eyes meet mine endearingly
And sing to you songs of love and life
Make you forget this world of fear and strife
I will lull you to sleep with whispers of I love you
