Of Heart Aches and Breaks - 3. Mistake
I have nothing to give
But you still took me in
My heart, my soul
My every little thing
So I guess you wonder
Why I did what I did
Why I slept with another
Off the slope did I slid
I have no excuses
No apologies can suffice
I was a stupid jerk
I succumbed to my vice
It’s not that I don’t love you
Because I really, really do
I just made one mistake
Now I really just want you
I’m beyond remorse
My guilt is suffocating
I’ve lost all my will’s force
My heart is ever waning
Please hold me again
Look at me just once more
Forgive my indiscretion
Adore me just once more
I love you beyond life
You are my everything
One last chance please?
We can start from the beginning
