The Co-Workers: Gary & Thomas - 6. Chapter 6

Donny

I woke in the hospital, I saw two grow men standing over, talking to me. I saw they're lips move, but I couldn't hear a thing. Am I dieing? Am I gonna end up where my dad is?..."Donny, sweetie can you hear me?!" Gary said. I could finally hear, my lips felt so dry. "Yes.." I finally muttered out. "Your gonna be okay, I promise." Thomas said. All I could do was nod. I was wondering who these men was, but for some reason I felt easy around then. I guess I didn't notice myself talking, because apparently I said 'who are you' "I'm Gary McColins." Gary said. "I'm Thomas Davis." Thomas said. "Wow...we have the same last name..." I said coughing inbewteen words. The nurse suddenly came in as she started explaining my condition. So many big words we're said, I didn't qutie understand it. I felt sleepy, I laid my head down & closed my eyes.

Gary

"We can take him home now, or when he wakes up. What is best?" Gary asked Thomas. "Let's take our sleeping beauty home, he needs to wake up in a bed, not in a hospital bed." Thomas said, stroking Donny's hair. Gary nodded, as he picked Donny up, and took him home. Gary was holding Donny's hand as he was sitting in the chair. Thomas was sleeping beside him on the floor. It's been 6 hours since we'd got him from the hospital, doctors said he'll be fine. But I noticed that Thomas & Donny look alike. I'll have to confront him about that in the morning. The sun was rising, I got up and started cooking breakfest, the smell

of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and waffles filled the house, as I held two sets of foot steps come in the kicthen. I started serving the food. For the 1st time, I saw Donny smiling. They both sat down and they both began noming at they're food. I sat down, and joined. Donny laid his fork down, and looked at us. "So, are you guys my dad?" He asked. Me & Thomas looked at eachother, then back at him. "Yes, we are." Thomas said smiling. Donny smiled. "Okay! But, why do I have 2 dads?" He asked. Me and Thomas sat down next to them, ready to have a long talk. "Well sweetie....we're gay." I said. "Gay?" Donny said. "It's where you like only guys." Thomas said. Donny smiled. "Then I'm gay!" "...What?"
