After winning a contest for an afternoon spent in a new fully VR version of Ring Spiral Online, a popular MMO, 1000 players find themselves unable to log out and unable to respawn when they die.
Given no clue what has happened to them, nor goal or time frame for their release, they must find their own path in what may be the rest of their lives.
