NumbaCruncha begins with a chilling peek into the near future, then takes a thousand year leap to Oasis, a future city-state in which the human aptitude for duplicitous and unjust social schemes has reached its logical culmination in a flesh-crawlingly evil dystopia ruled by the most unpleasant gang of conmen and women you're ever likely to encounter. A couple of young scientists who have recently invented a new means of transport, decide to do something about it, despite the tremendous odds.

Meanwhile, out in the forest, the secret weapon designed by intelligent, decent men a thousand years previously, is patiently waiting.

I wasn't sure which of your stories to leave this comment on, since most of them are wonderful at flaying humans for their senseless breeding and destruction of nature due to greed and stupidity. But I decided on this one, where you go for a future without Homo sapiens. ;) 

I didn't believe my own eyes. One of the main media in Denmark has a headline today saying: If you want to do something about climate change, have fewer children. Finally, something sensible about how to save the world.

Ugh, the data came from a Swedish study - oh well, you can't have everything. :lol:

Swedes/Danes - aren't you all the same? :rofl:  It's very sensible advice because each child in western society will cause a vast amount of CO2 to be emitted; in the millions of tons.  

We have just learned today the the "Big Four Banks" that have publicly sworn they no longer support climate destroying fossil fuel projects, have secretly invested $21,000,000,000.00 in such projects since 2015! There's no hope.:(
