I wrote 'Into a Better Place' as an entry into the 2010 Summer Anthology series 'Out of this world'.
It came together in one emotional and mostly sleepless night, but took several days to get it fully onto paper as I really struggled to tell this simple but poignant story of a kid that finds himself between a rock and a hard place and can see no other solution but to end it all. I can't say I hope you'll enjoy it - but I hope it will move you.
