In most of the northern hemisphere, today is the darkest, longest night of the year; the Winter Solstice. Not where I am, however. Today is just as dark as yesterday, and the day before that, and it will be just as dark tomorrow.
Here's my submission for W_L's Christmas story project! I chose to interpret the title 'Black Christmas' in a more literal sense. 
I've experimented a bit with both writing style and era, so I hope the results are acceptable. Enjoy!
