I can’t say how long I’ve wanted this, his lips on mine, his tongue in my mouth. And even as I’m thinking it, I can’t be sure if this is something I actually want or something he’s making me want. I try not to care, try to just ignore it, because he’s beautiful. He’s beautiful and terrible in the way of a massive thunderstorm, or a tidal wave, or another destructive force of nature. If I want him because he wants me to want him, I think I can live with that.
I wrote this a while ago. It's set during Daken: Dark Wolverine #4, where Daken has sought out the help of the Fantastic 4. Daken is pretty much my second favourite Marvel character, after Deadpool. He's Wolverine's son, and first appeared in #10 of Daniel Way's wonderful Wolverine: Origins comic, which I highly recommend to anyone who likes the X-Men. During the Dark Reign storyline, Daken joins the Dark Avengers and takes up the Wolverine mantle, posing as his father. I know, Marvel canon is like a soap opera. Daken is canonically bisexual, and was ranked sixth in Comics Alliance's 50 Sexiest Male Characters in Comics.
