A whore you are to the laws of society
Work for the man and collect what you earn
Nothing ever changes in the dullness of life
Your sweat and tears mean not a thing
A whore you are to your worldly goods
Work for all your money and shop ‘til you drop
Nothing ever changes except the thickness of a wallet
Your lack of freedom leave emptiness within
A whore you are to people in your life
Work to make them happy without appreciation
Nothing ever changes except the color of your hair
Your lack of youth makes you wish for more time
A whore you are not if you become wise
Work for your own happiness and live in peace
Nothing ever chances unless you make the leap
Your painful ordeal can come to an end
