Stannie - Stories

Jake is a rebellious teenager, perhaps as a response to his father - the captain of the local police force - who has very strict ideas about how Jake should live his life. A mysterious smile is exactly what Jake needed to show his dad that his life is his own.

This story is about Ryan, a very straightforward boy that goes on vacation with his mother. He then sees a pompous family getting on the same flight as him. He hates those rich families, especially the kids who never had to do anything in their lives. But, could certain circumstances change his opinion about that family? This story is about Mike. His mother volunteered him to help out during the Sinterklaas parade in the Netherlands. It's not really something he would do normally, but he has no choice. In the end, however, it was surely worth his time.

As Adam is running from his old life, he meets many interesting people. Still, it seems hard to leave his old life behind, as it's trying to catch up with him every time he takes time to rethink it all.

Here I'll upload all my poems. I don't write them a lot, I like fiction better, but all the poems I translated to English will be uploaded here.

While pretending to be cool when he is with his friends and trying to be intelligent when he is editing his popular weblog, Adam actually is going through a lot. He is able to ignore his own problems by running from reality. It works, until someone in the real world becomes interesting enough to stay for.
