Strange thing I noticed reading anthology

Did anyone take a notice at what stories seem to have the most length?
I know, I know, it doesn't matter how big the word count is, but how you write your story 
I just noticed this by accident, but Bill W., Altimex, and W.L (me), were the three longest in word count.
Also, all three of us wrote science fiction stories, using different ideas and different points of view.
Just an observation
