Every Journey starts with....

....a strong pair of gonads and a step.

So I thought after spending a few months reading far too many stories on here it was time I put my own thoughts to pen....errr pixel? So tomorrow I officially will start writing in what I am now naming the "Bloodline" universe with most likely "Faery Boy" book. Both titles are a work in progress for now. I doubt I will nail them down until later. But I hope to have a first draft of chapters 1 and hopefully two done by Monday.

So why bother with a blog if you don't have your shit together?

I figured got to start making myself known enough so someone can help me edit. Hopeless at editing *points to self* and also I know I will keep up with my writing if I know someone, anyone is reading. Ie accountability :-p

Next post should be a glimpse into the "Bloodline" Universe or talking about the posted chapters.

Cheers

p.s. gonads = balls/ovaries....well preformed ones

p.p.s. In other words I tell my female friends to grow a pair of ovaries and women up. When gender is unknown I use gonads.

LOL! GA tends to do that to readers. Not all of them mind you, but quite a few. You get ideas and think, is there a story like this one that I want to read. No? Well... Hmm... Maybe I should write it.

Then the craziness begins.

If anyone had told me that letting one story into my head would mean the voices would sometimes take over and force my fingers to fly over the keyboard to give them life...

I still would have done it.

So, good luck in your writing endeavors and finding an editor. I have far too much on my plate to offer but I would suggest getting a sample of your story written and placing it with an editor/beta request in the editor's corner if no one offers. There is a pinned topic that will give you more information on how to form your posted request to the best effect.

Good idea introducing yourself. If I can make a small suggestion, if you've read a ton, go review a ton as well. Nothing makes other authors take a peek at your work faster than letting them know you read theirs - it also makes people who read a lot see your contributing and they will at a minimum take a look at your work.

Other than that - good writing and look forward to reading it.

Just so you know, all women have balls. I lie to you not. Two as a matter of fact. They are called the balls of their feet. Otherwise good luck with your writing.
