Sometimes ... Sometimes I Mess Things Up

Something happened the other day, the details of which I prefer not to share.

Something that threw me out of whack far enough that I decided that GA was not the place for my poetry. I was sure I was making the right choice about that.

However, I've had to rethink it. I've had lots of PMs, lots of comments and one PM from a reader who said she never has contacted an Author before, but she did me and she told me what she thought of my choice. That was very humbling. All the replies and comments were humbling to be honest. Most of them were full of love and dismay.

And I feel awful.

I let one person put me in this place mentally, and I feel like I've hurt or let down so many people that I care about.

Do I apologize? I feel like I should.

So to all of you, who commented, liked Adieu, PM'd or e-mailed me. I'm sorry if I let you down, or upset you, or whatever it is. I truly am.

I love GA. Have no intentions of leaving. I'll still write and blog and maybe some poetry will find it's way here again. I'm pretty certain it will.

And I'll try to be stronger in the face of hate, in the future.

I haven't been online much lately, but am pained to see what happened to you. But, tim, don't let a single person temper the joy you so obviously have in writing, poems or prose. I think you should be proud of what you have published on GA and hope you'll continue sharing the products of your mind.

We love you and your writings, be they stories, poems, blogs or forum posts. If nothing else, maybe you can take all the wonderful outpouring of care and support here away from the situation as the most important memory / outcome of the hurtful place you were pushed into.

No need for apologies, I (as a writer) understand even if I don't write from the same vulnerability or pour my soul into poetry like you do.

 (hope Michael does that too)

I'm so glad you decided to stay! I must confess I seldom read your more serious things, but that's only because I'm weak. I wish no one should have to deal with haters!

It's over and well i appreciate all the love from all of you. I'm working on a new Faris and James, defo not remotely serious.

Be boring if we wrote the same stuff Tim. People love what you write and that's cool!  I'm still waiting for more Clueless Camping!!  Michael is a very physical guy...
