Best Buy is known for its officious employees.  I had no less than eight different people ask if I needed help when I very clearly didn't.

Car lots are another favorite hangout for the officious. As a friend once said of a particular car lot, "If you drive through there, you have to stop at the road to clear car salesmen from the wheel wells."
