True As It Can Be Chapter 18 is Now Live- Author Notes

Chapter 18 is now live, here's some thoughts

-Brad's freak out about his insomnia and growing sexual arousal are side effects of Methadone withdrawal. He's not crazy or unstable, Brad is trying to be responsible and protect Beau even if it means being distant from him. Beau understands that

-A tasteful sausage making joke :P Freud would be proud

-We get to see a Thanksgiving celebration

-Morris' dilemma is something a lot of heterosexual black males face. Having an unplanned baby at a young age is not ideal,  especially for people without financial support for it. Don't read many stories dealing with that reality of college in gay fiction, but it's part of the overall reality.

-The chapter ends in a cliffhanger..."He's in the house" :o :o

A great chapter until the cliffhanger. I'm worried what Gary and his associates have planned. Gary will be annoyed that Beau isn't in the house.

a cliffhanger no doubt.  I just hope that when Gary discovers Beau is not present, what is going to be reaction?   Take out his revenge on Brad once again?  There many other residents in Keller Hall that Gary can do much harm to.  I am also of the belief that Beau may also surprising all of us.  Just suppose that Beau does enter Keller Hall with Sammy?  Is there apossibility that he can become a one man wrecking crew himself to protect everyone that Gary is threatening?  It is obvious the campus police are helplees puppets.
