Oooh nooo!! That sucks, poor you. There's some kind of bug sweeping the while country y'know, cos I know tons of people that have had exactly that problem, but the good news is they all feel better quite soon after vom-ing. *hugs*

Ok the saying "this is pants" not one I have heard on this side of the pond...It just made me smile and laugh..what does it mean (is it like "this sucks"? kind of saying)

Exactly what planet did you come from?? 'This is pants' has to be the silliest thing I've ever heard. Just how do you get sexy and hot from that??

Must have something to do with testosterone.

I think it's something, but it's definitely NOT testosterone.

Sharon and Mark,

This is Dave's blog. I would suggest you take your rude remarks elsewhere.

Not only do you lack imagination, you both demonstrate an intolerence for idiomatic/colloquial expressions from another culture.

You both owe Dave and Michael an apology.

My sincerest apologies for the momentary usurping of your blog.

Conner

It's a silly phrase considering what it's representing. I'm sure the UK has tons of silly phrases that make no sense to others, just as American English does. It's perfectly acceptable to comment on such.

Michael, dear soul that he is, finds just about everything hot and sexy. It's part of his personality. But his conclusion that "This is pants" is in anyway hot and sexy is so far out in left field even for him. If Michael feels that my comments in any way offended him, then he is more than welcome to point that out to me and I will tender my apology.

I certainly do not need some self appointed courtesy police to chastise me based on his view of what is rude. Trust me, if I indend to be rude, I'm pretty up front and in your face with it. Sort of like now.

If you wish to continue this discussion, I suggest you PM me directly.

Hi...Now I am beat red...I just found the saying "its pants" funny and humorous and more romantic then "it sucks"...I am reading English novels this summer and I have always had an Anglophile thing going on my whole life and they have so many concepts and cultural things and words I never knew about. Like the saying "its pants"

I am enamoured by the English and Scottish. So, I find the phrase funny, witty and in its way, to me, it sounded sexier, more sensual then the saying "that sucks", which doesn't sound very literary or have some kind of romantic notion...Hence, I ran with the phrase in an unintended silly way.

I didn't mean to cause a dusting up of things...now I feel silly beyond belief....

Conner, you are always my Rainbow knight in shining armour:) You are sexy in all ways...as I blush in writing that plus you are amazing in all ways and the Director of Communication...You were just showing us your big strong protective sexy Clint Eastwood side....and I for one like the ying and yang you balance well...it become you!!)

Sharon, I am also Italian..we Italians find lots of things Sexy.....its amore and passion and all that Italian la dolce vita.....that's just me....I see a word or sentence or saying or a post and it evokes an experience or feeling and I get swept away and go with it. My Italian passion and runaway thoughts combine. What can I say?

You are Sharon, (even If a darksider...just teasing you:) You know I adore you...so deal with it darling and you are sensual and sexy in your own "You are Woman" way ..and you are humorous in your own way. (even the bare feet, well even that has image of sexiness..so does flip flops and tanned legs....you know me, I find lots of things sexy..I hope I am not embarassing you )

Oh, well, it is Dave's blog and sorry Dave for taking time from your blog and focus from it.

I apologize to all for taking focus from it. Yikes and its pants if I did!!! (hey I got to use that in a sentence....hee hee:)
