You made an excellent choice in selecting the example Myr.  It is both haunting and powerful. 

And it helps if you're not tone deaf.  

Some of the old progressive rock I like intones complex and subtle themes that were never attempted before or since. Those aren’t just dusty albums in my collection, its a little slice of a unique time and culture.

Awesome! This album takes me back. I love Yes. It looks like this is a remastered edition, but this album was originally recorded in 1972. I agree that it is an excellent example of intonation. Thanks for the nostalgic trip!
