  1. This tale is so like its author, full of fun and action packed. You don't need to like cowboys, shifters or dogs to enjoy this story. I recommend reading this wonderful short tale.

  2. Twombly is a village filled with love and family unity now matter what kind of being you are. Set in the Christmas season, Charlie and Kip with many of their friend are asked to solve a mystery. To their surprise, the source of the problem lies in the wonderful traits of the village. I recommend this beautiful Christmas story that is full of warmth and healing.
  3. I have been a long time fan of the Charlie Boone stories. This small gem fits perfectly in Geron's crown of achievements.

  4. Laura has written a beautiful romance. It is an easy read, because she fills it with so many humorous mishaps and misunderstandings you breeze through each chapter. Her characters (I especially love Jack) are quirky as they move from one adventure to another. Whether you enjoy paranormal or not, you will enjoy this story. I highly recommend this story and others by Laura.

    Chapter 1

I usually feel warm, happy and positive about life as one result of reading one of your stories, Geron. Thanks again for creating that feeling for me. I do wish to point to the skilled writing of Cedric's advice to Kieron. It subtly left me with the impression that Cedric was speaking from his own heart about his own experiences.
  6. Geron, a master of storytelling, has created a beautiful story of romance touched lightly with a bit of magic. A prince and a peasant finds love knows no boundaries or limitations. This is a warm and wonderful read I highly recommend.

  7. Everyone would be very happy to have a sidekick like Jack. Short and sweet example of great characterization.

  8. Hi Drew! Glad to see nothing has change while I was away. Congratulations on the new kitty.
  9. It's the end of the rainy season, but approaching the dry season. The weather is still hot and muggy meaning we get a lot of lightning storms, but usually rain overnight. Partially cloudy most other times. I am doing well. Aod and I are closer in many ways and still very much in love.
  10. Hi Bucket! It's nice to be back. How are you doing? Staying warm?
  11. Hi All! It maybe a good evening here, but.......

    Ridley

Hi Krista, Just to let you know that I enjoyed reading Ridley the second time as much as I did the first.

    Part 4

What a wonderful dialogue between Gabe and Ridley. It highlighted Gabe's focus on Ridley and Gabe's determination to fight past Ridley's defences. It also clarified Ridley's approach to life and his confusion about his own motivations for behaving as he does. The dialogue was written with few words, but efficiently conveyed powerful emotions. Well done, Krista!

    Part 3

This chapter focused on Ridley's family, but also developed Gabe's character. He is an observant, thoughtful person. His careful analysis of Ridley demonstrated his skills as a newspaper writer and also his feelings for Ridley. Excellent chapter!

    Part 2

I stand by these comments. I think you would enjoy some of the excellent essays on writing tips written by folks on GA. I especially recommend those by Comicality. He wrote one on Small Moments that apply to the comments you and I exchanged on this chapter. You can see this and more in the GA blog "Writing World" Here's a link to that essay.
