Many people, especially younger people, are quick to display their dactylion for everyone to see.    

From the Greek word datkylos, which means 'finger'.  In biology, dactyly is the arrangement of fingers.  The term dactyl is oft en used to refer to refer to a a single digit, such as a finger or toe.  

Soldering, shrink wrapping and hot glue have calloused my dactylions.

After I saw Myrs quotes, then all of the comments so far, the first thing that came to mind, was a mental picture of an extended middle finger and it is still there!! So, here are several items I picked for you all.
