The verb beaming is from the Middle English bemen,  meaning to shine.

The ship's captain was beaming over the new beam along the beam of his ship.

I would like  to apologize, before I start! I just got up and feel like death warmed over. After staring at my screen for the longest time, I've got bupkis for you and agree with what the others have said here.

The first thing that came to mind was:
