1. I'd rather be deaf. I can't imagine not seeing my computer screen and I hate noise. So it's really a no-brainer for me.

2. I walked in on my parents once. It scarred me for life. I've also had them walk in on me. The later is preferable.

3. I could not make out the name of the second choice. As much as I love Ozzie's music I'm sure the second choice has got to be a better one.

Regarding NAFTA:

If you try to decide the merits of NAFTA based on a pseudo-debate between an extremist and a lunatic (I'll let you decide who is who) you're going to arrive at a flawed conclusion. Surely you can find better sources of information to help you decide.

I'm sure there are better sources, like wise people who watch the debate here and leave their opinions on the pros and cons.

I wasn't aware there was a debate going on here. I tend not to visit the political forums on GA cause that's not why I'm here. I'm here to read, beta-read and edit stories. I do my political debating elsewhere. If you need some help in a debate here I guess the least I can do as your friend is help you out. I'm not sure how you feel about NAFTA so having me join in the debate may or may not be a good thing for you. But at least you'll get an intelligent and informed opinion.

I didn't even know you were a vegetarian. So I guess the obvious question is how long has it been since you last ate meat?

BTW, I think you'd spark a better debate on NAFTA if you did two things. First, start a thread in one of the political forums. Second, use videos that aren't so dated. Those vids were fine for when NAFTA was being considered. Now that we're dealing with the realities of NAFTA something more current would make your point much more effectively.

Actually, I'm not posting in the political forums anymore. I can only put up with so much ignorance as it is, but when others disagree with you to the point that they start reporting your posts, it's time to walk away and be the bigger man. It's especially troubling when the one who reports said posts is just as guilty of doing what offended them in the first place.

Also, I'm posting these vids because I wanted to start from the beginning and work my way up to today's debates, so we can see just who's saying what now compared to what they were saying back in the day.

That's a shame about the political forums. I thought GA was a friendlier place than that.

Now I understand why you're starting with old vids. You're educating us about what NAFTA was supposed to be and working your way up to the present and what it's become. Knowing that makes what you're doing much more sensible. I'll pay a lot more attention to your posts about NAFTA now.

BTW, I've had to take a break from reading your stories due to a backlog of stuff to beta-read, edit and zeta-read. I'll admit to reading Kit's new story, but that's all I've read in at least a week. I really want to get back to What's the Difference.

I've seen all the vids you've posted so far about NAFTA. I watched most of them live at the time they aired. I'm looking forward to the more current stuff. So please know you have at least one person who is interested in your point of view. We can have our own private discussion if it comes to that. We can even disagree if it comes to that. But I promise never to be rude to you.
