jovian_w2002 Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) Reading this article has made me my day http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08125/878966-85.stm Being a strong, spirited kid at a time of adversity, John Challis has become an inspiration to everyone. His courage is worth emulating upon. "I used to be afraid, but I'm not afraid of dying now, if that's what you want to know," he said. "Because life ain't about how many breaths you take. It's what you do with those breaths." Edited July 4, 2008 by jovian_w2002
Drewbie Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Thanks for sharing Jov, John has a good outlook on his life. I still feels sad for him.
jovian_w2002 Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008 Yeah. His message still resonates in my heart. Seriously, I think I'm going to cry. I've been reading this article for the past 30 minutes. It's so inspirational!
colinian Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 There's another article from July 1 that tells a bit more about the background of John's illness and brings what's happening to him up to date. Really an inspiring kid. It sucks when a kid has to suffer like John is suffering. His story brought tears to my eyes. Colin
Ieshwar Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 His story brought tears to my eyes. Mine too. I\'ll pray for him. Ieshwar
