The alter ego is always a fascinating theme - sort of like coming face-to-face with one's demons, but in a more real and scary way. You did an excellent job describing Kris' emotions in the early part of that chapter - his fears and his sense of hopelessness in particular. The story's not moving forward fast enough for me though. Patience is a virtue I'm rather short on. So when do we get a threesome between Kris and the twins? Hugs, Conner

It seems that Kris is drawing this out so damn slowly, barely a few hours pass in each chapter... I'm sure the story'll move on sometime...maybe by chapter 215 he'll find out what's wrong with him
Conner Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Too bad about the threesome. Thought I'd ask anyway. I believe my impatience has a lot to do with the "medium" of the serialized story. When reading a book and I don't feel satisfied at the end of a chapter, I just go read the next chapter. I can't do that here. I have to be patient and try to understand that you have a life, too. I suck at that! So what's my point? Hmmmm well, It would be better (for me ) if each chapter sort of stood alone - ya know? If each chapter had romance, drama, adventure, humour and, yeah, sex, I wouldn't feel so impatient. Is that asking too much? BTW, you're not the only author with whom I become impatient. It's not personal or anything. But I always like to let authors know that I have access to professional stalkers! You will begin to notice them long before chapter 215! In my book Dom's the Master at writing chapters that stand alone - as per my definition of that term. Yeah Dom The long and short of it is I like your story. Hugs, Conner
