Former Member Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 To be honest, I was kind of overwhelmed when the ps4 was announced. I still have games for the ps3 that I haven't even unwrapped from the shrink wrap yet. I learned about the ps4 and was like: "I know it's been so long, b-but...there's still so much left for me to do!" I guess it doesn't help that when the ps3 FIRST came out my family bought one of those rare cherished backwards compatible ones, so I spent most of my time with all the ps2 and ps1 games that held my attention. Like final fantasy 12. ...come to think of it, Final fantasy 13 was the first ps3 game I actually bought for myself.
Traveller_23 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 My reaction was exactly the same! And also, need to finish Final Fantasy XII! Whole reason I still have my PS2!
Former Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Unfortunately, my precious backwards compatible ps3 succumbed to the yellow light of death twice in one year, so I bit the bullet and bought a new not-as-cool-cuz-it-couldn't-play-ps2-or-ps1-games ps3. But I still have my copy of ff12. I wouldn't give that up for the world!
RiyanW Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I am rather excited about the release of the PS4 since I am a bit of a Sony fan though it will be a while before I buy one as it is with every release they have.
