Thanks @Sherye Story Reader for the idea as a comment in “Are Choices Even Real?” She said:

We all that are depressed, should stay in a group, the kind of group that don't really want to die, but thinks about it a lot for a long time cause depression makes you think about it! It is a disease and I think when you do find the right one who helps you then that is the medicine that cures it! Let's call it I Don't Want To Die Group. 

I thought a more positive title might be better, hence the GA Survivors Support blog.

For anybody that has read enough of my work, you’ll know that music is important to me. There’s one verse from a song that fits the purpose of this blog. It comes from one of my favorite songs. Favorite is relative for me, somewhere in my top 100:

Converse to that, there’s a line in another song that I disagree with:

Together, we can save each other from ourselves.

So, here is a place to vent your depression, frustration, whatever. I truly hope this can foster a positive environment for anyone that needs it. If things go south, I’ll have to delete or close this. Let’s not go there.

I’m not tagging anyone else here, if you just want to “listen” you can do that. I’ll be posting a link to this in the comments of the aforementioned story.
