As I have said before we must remember women even as powerful as Caroline are not in the same league,as men at this time in history. The husband ruled his household. Maybe, George could even take control of his father-in-law's estate for Alexander. shutting Caroline out in the cold.

This who George is, a nonnoble, caring kind person. Jt is also the reason the brake with Caroline is so painful.

Again, Lord Arbour has created a puzzle, in which we are all drawn into. two things strike me: Caroline's actions seem odd. first, we see undying love in her letters and now this indifference. the second is the king asks George to walk with him, in my mind is a very friendly act. Some have thought that Caroline's closeness to the princess of Wales will cause problems with the prince, since George is upset with wife I think [t will do the opposite.

George has again, done the wise thing going to the king, In doing so he solved two problems that of his tenants and his wife and cut his father out as a go-between. Masterful Lord Arbour.

i want to first say the was one of the best written chapters' ever. again, i felt as if i was there. two questions are there : why are Jack and Claire doing this? and who torched the plane and the car? is it the same person?
