When we think of Brad, in the past we see the strong powerful person. Now we see again what the loss of Robbie did. Maybe now, after the specter of Robbie on the Beach and the final forgiveness Brad can move on. J hope so. Once Brad forgives Robbie, Matt can forgive Brad. As was said with Tony and Will, this needed healing. Barry is trying to show the mine field ahead for Will and Zach. Can they make it? Robbie and Brad were about this same age when they meet. Stef was 16 when he met JP. Again Mr Arbour you have given us a amazing chapter. If you think of those first chapters of CAP as a tiny seed, look at the great tree which has grown from it. Happy Arbor Day, Mr Arbour!!!

The King visiting his ship! Wow! What a honor! It was even interesting to see George taken back by it. The Valiant is starting to grow on him. Solid, powerful, and rugged just what one wants in a British ship. Honestly I am not real happy with his return to the med, but taking Lord Elgin to Constantinople could be an interesting adventure. It is almost as exotic as Egypt. This time he can visit as himself. Last, deal with Nelson will be the hardest. A Mentor is hard to correct. Again you have given us an amazing chapter. Thank you, Mark.

Three short words, some people wait a lifetime to hear them and never do. Mark, you weave a story which has its twists, turns and surprises, I guess I would hope Zach would say these words but Zach surprised me maybe as much as Will was. I LOVE YOU!! The person I thought was a creep and could turn out to hurt Will, has turned into something else. Is he Will's soulmate? Maybe that is to early to tell but I think they would to good for each other. Will again lives up to his deal with Matt. Reaching out Tony even if some people who think Tony should be run over by a bus, Still a wound which needs to be healed. Matt has got his work to do. I am not sure if I trust Barry, but now that Brad has appeared he will know who's boss. I think between Brad's dealing with Barry helping Zach and Will, and reconciling with Matt, may help Brad recover from 9 11. Mark again you show us the pain, hurt, healing because of the loss on 9 11 and the love which this family has for each other. It may hide at times but it never gone for long. thank you for another amazing chapter, Mark

I have always thought Will's black and white view point was a strength not a weakness. Few people are willing to stand up for something they believe in. That is not Will. Over the last few books I have seen Will grow and mature. He has learned forgiveness. To see him and Matt now, almost makes one forget about the difficulties of the past. As for Zach's comment remember he is the youngest of 6 kids growing up in a small house. Maybe a reason we need to give Clara and Wally a benifit of the doubt, it is their last child. So back to the subject, Will then has 9 11 and the loss of Robbie, Jeanine and Hank. He is down to one parent who is not doing very good. I think Mark said it is almost as if Will has become the parent. Now the revelation that his father and Wade have this secret relationship. I would say a lot for a going on 16 yo to handle. Two people he looked up to, have clay feet. He knows his father is in bad shape. But Wade seems so with ii, able to handle every thing and now we see he is as screwed up as the raise of them. In the long run JP is right, we must over look what has happened to just move forward forgiving anything which has happened because of 9 11. hopefully the family will be able to follow that lead.

It is good to see the family working together. You can see the relationship building between Matt and Will. I think that is a good thing. I know Jeremy would disagree but if anyone could replace JP down the line I think it could be Will. Mark you created another great chapter thank you so much.

At the end of the previous chapter, ending with Zach's call I thought oh no. Will has struggled with his feelings after 9 11. He seems happy for once will Zach. Knowing that he could not share his relationship with only his family. Like Matt seven years before, he wants everybody to know. Now it is ended suddenly. Two things that happen, rather than Will getting off and burning the town down, Zach comes over. and what is even better. JP comes, not just a telephone call but a visit. it shows us both Zach and JP care about Will. Some people wonder why are these characters still hurting? They should just pick up the pieces and forget the past. As we can see, even two people with the strongest wills as Brad and Will can't do it. Flux was a good name, for that is was they are in. Time for the members of the family to help.. Both Zach and JP make sure they are there for Will. Now I am not worried about Will For Mr Arbour has solved that problem and given us and Will hope of a better life.

What was so interesting to watch George in command, waiting the situation minute by minute and seeing the crew and and St Vincents reaction to it. I can hardly believe George is only 23. A wonderful chapter!! It is good to is this new ship is up to the weather.

For the first time Matt and Will are starting to have a brotherly relationship. I think that relationship is more important than sex. Matt needs that relationship in his life. Sex will only complicate things.

Sorry that my review is so late but I try to read the chapter twice and the other reviews before commenting. When I knew that Matt was meeting with JP and his office, I thought oh boy. Brad's interjection caused the truth not to come out. I think that was a mistake. After all the years of dealing with JP, Brad knows how to twist the conversation. Now nothing can be gained. None of the problems solved, nothing dealt with, just more guilt. As for Brad and Will, later on, Why does Brad dread seeing Will? Is it because, it reminds him of his failts. What could have been simple request for information was turned into drama. Both handle it poorly. Will feels let down by Wade and his Dad. They used to be the most important people in his life. What are they now, in his mind. Sad. Who will have his back now? As for going to Claremount, a mistake. Nothing good will happen. Mark you again have shown us how 9 11 has screwed up this family even more than they were before. I wonder how much their mental health bills are? Millions? Good thing they have Stef's money to back them up.

The term is used a lot but what really is a Soul mate? How do you know you have one? Can you have more then one in a lifetime? On the saga I feel we have a number of soul mates. J P and Stef, Jack and Clare. Were Brad and Robbie, or JP and Jeff, or Stef and Greg? What about Frank and Isidore? Could Will and Zach develop into Soul mates. How long does it take? Are George and Caroline? In real life I have known a few, but not many. What do you think?

It was really nice that George was able to help Hornblower. I have the feeling that both Caroline and the Duke will be enlisted too. Jerves coming back to England and later becomes First Lord. This journey will give time to test George's new ship. It is wonderful to see George at sea again. Great Chapter!!

Wow!! What a chapter! I started to reread 9 11 to see who this mystery lover was. And then you came out with this chapter. If you look at this Wade and Brad it makes a lot of sense. they work well together. two strong powerful people hurting from their loss. Supporting each other. Then you add Will with his black and white, right and wrong sense of justice. Brad once said Will acted without seeing the reactions of others. What would this revelation for the others in the family? Add to the mix Matt hurt in the hospital. Painting Brad and Wade's relationship even darker. This hurts so many people and breaks so many rules. What looked like a brief time of peace is now broke. Even if Will remains silent, it will come out. And the firestorm that will follow will make some of Will and Matt's problems seem petty. You did it again Mr Arbour, drama on a grand scale. Good Work!!

Can Evil be good at times? Having Jason appear aboard seems a little evil to me. John Travis's nephew. Only one is missing our Welsh warlock, Llewellyn. So far things seem to be coming together very well. We still need 50 men, but we have enough to sail. Again the tension is building. Where will they be sent? Not to far a field I hope. George's new house is becoming very useful. Not many ship captains have a home overlooking the harbor. Again Lord Arbour brings us back in time, so real we can fell the wind and the salt in the air. Only one question is left to be answered, who will satisfy our noble captain's desires?

One of the problems with first person stories as that you only get one point of view. It has been a long time since we heard from Matt. It is not that Matt is perfect. Would I trust my son on a world trip with Matt? No. Was Wade Matt's soul mate? I believe like David , that after time Wade and Matt may reunite. We will see what Mr Arbour has in store for them.

I am not sure if Matt, Zach and Will traveling across the globe is a good idea. However, I found Wade's reaction to Matt very odd. What is stopped Wade from giving Matt another chance? I understand that they are going to different schools but so did Robbie and Brad and even though Brad and Robbie's relationship was a roller coaster, they also had many happy years. Brad could have had Max the calm relationship, or Robbie not so. Is Wade really afraid? It could be. As normal this chapter creates more questions than it answers. Good Work Mr Arbour!

I think with JJ it will be one of those magic moments, it will just happen. Remember right now skating is his love, so it will have to be someone really special. As for Wade, his also in dedicated to the future and even though he has Tiffany, and the memory of Matt. As time passes and Matt grows up things may look better for them. Again if someone else comes along they will have to be special very special.

Honestly I was disappointed for Brad, but happy that Sean found a guy like Ben. If Brad would have had deep feelings for either guy, that would be something different. Again Mr. Arbour has given us a treasure and this chapter is just part of it.

“Love takes different forms. They’re all important,” What I thought would be one thing turned out something else. A very good turn of events, Mr Arbour, very good indeed.

This is the third time I have tried to write this review. It just disappears before I,m done. I can feel it!! the tension is building, the wind against my face , the salt in the air the rocking of the tide. All the pieces are coming together, The great adventure awaits. The crew is gathering, both old trusted faces and new members like Treadway and Hornblower. Oh where is our welsh warlock? This is what is amazing about Mark,s writing you as a reader are not just sitting on the sideline, but you are there! On the ship, part of the crew. You feel the storms and battles. You are part of them. Wow after an awful winter, we need an adventure, with our brave hero and his fearless crew. Get the adventure begin! Thanks Mark!

So now it is set. I agree that all this is for the best. Wade in Boston, Matt in Chicago. Sometimes people need time off to settle things. After the last months Wade and Matt need that. Then maybe just maybe they can build again. As for Will. Not to get Tim ticked off but I am proud of how he is handling Matt. Who would think that they could have worked things out as well as they did. I was hoping to hear about Brad's big date but that will have to wait until next time. Wonderful work,Mark.

I can almost feel problems ahead. Hopefully the ship is hold together all enough to be repaired correctly. Two things caught me by surprise. First I did not think the new house would be that large. Of course our idea of a summer place is not the same as theirs. The adding of Hornblower provides new twist. What does Mark have in mind for George and his crew? Only time will tell. For the first time in long time I m nervous about this voyage and the safety of this new ship.

Sometimes the morning after can be difficult. Matt has finally figured out Wade and Will's positions. It is good to see that he got in a good place with Will. I think going to Chicago and Wade to Boston is not a bad thing at this point. Sometimes being a part can bring people together. Let's hope it works in this case. Brad and Ben, is there a future for them? At this point I think Ben is a first step. It is more than 3 months, so it is time. I have the feeling that Ben is more of an artist than a laborer. Maybe he is what Brad needs, a solid, loyal, caring partner. Someone who is not overwhelmed by money and power. Who knows. Thanks Mark or another healing chapter.

The last book left Mall as an outcast. No one liked that.What started as a good deed, taking Wade home, turned into something a lot more important. What I liked about this chapter was how Robbie still is very important to both of these guys. Robbie behind all the flaws was a very loving guy. Both Matt and Will are building on that. The conversation between Will and Matt was amazing. Two strong minded stubborn people trying to work things out. I agree maybe next time Will should keep his clothes on, but underneath all the pain and anger they care bout each other. Maybe they can be brothers after all. As for Wade and Matt, what will happen with them only time all tell but the bond is still there an that is very good. Thanks for this chapter. After a hard day it was just the thing to put a smile on my face.
